Getting a jewelry appraisal is important because it helps assess the value and authenticity of your fine jewelry.
Information provided by an appraisal includes:
- Accurate valuation of the jewelry piece.
- Detailed description of the materials used (e.g., type of metal, gemstones).
- Documentation of any unique or distinguishing features including the ”4 C’s” of gemstones. (Cut, Clarity, Carat & Color)
- Verification of authenticity.
- Consideration of current market trends and brand values affecting the jewelry's worth.
HOW TO OBTAIN AN APPRAISAL
At Hannoush Jewelers, obtaining an appraisal has never been easier.
- If your jewelry was purchased at Hannoush, you’ll receive a free appraisal with your fine jewelry at the time of purchase.
- For jewelry not purchased at Hannoush, schedule an appointment and bring your jewelry to a location near you. Your appraisal will be provided by a professional gemologist starting at $150 per piece.
- Appraisal services by a GIA Graduate Gemologist can be requested. Please call to schedule an appointment for a consultation and estimate.
Please ensure you bring along all pertinent documents with your jewelry, including receipts, grading certificates, and any warranties at your disposal. Upon completion, your appraisal will be provided complete with photographs, diagrams, and an assessment of your jewelry's value.
