The BR-CAL.301 self-winding mechanical movement allows the hours, minutes, seconds and date to be displayed along with chronograph functions. The chronograph's 30-minute timer hand is visible in red, as seen on a gauge, while the overlapping of the counterweight of the chronograph seconds hand with that of the minutes hand recreates the "B" of Blacktrack. Faceting work is also found in the bezel, which assumes an octagonal shape, seen from above. Together, the seconds and minutes hands pick up on the Blacktrack logo.
